TRAIN OR BUS TO DUB MARATHON 27TH FROM DUNDALK/ARDEE/ DROGHEDA
HI ALL
JUST WONDERING DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY INFO ABOUT ANY TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS PRIVATE OR PUBLIC FROM NORTH EAST AREA THERE ARE 3 OF US TRAVELLING AND IT TOKE US ABOUT AN HOUR TO LEAVE CAR PARK FOR HALF MARATHON

good question was wondering that kind of thing myself - also from north east
Trains running as per normal as per Iarnrod eireann website drogheda-pearse st wouldnt be a bad idea
but you would need to try to find out about where to leave chnage of clothes etc
i know someone from drogheda parked in stephens green centre car park last year was thinking of doing that myself if train thing didnt work out
i am hoping to find a bit more on this kind of thing out when i collect my number on the saturday in RDS.
if longford is anything to go by experienced runners are more tahn helpful when it comes to sharing that sort of info
thanks for ur reply, firstly i didn't think the car park would open that early and secondly i don't know if legs would still work after run.
i could get a lift home no prob just getting someone to drop me up for 8am is a different story, yeah but i'd say the expo would be a good place to find out things like this. although i thought that at half marathon and didn't really learn a lot.
