Any more Irish half marathons this year?
Are there any more Half Maras before the end of the year? After the mooathon there doesn't seem to be any advertised. Is it a case of just training over the winter for whatever delights lie in store for us next year?

There is a half in Termonbarry, 7 miles from longford on 5th October 2008.

Did the run on Sunday. Was challenging alright, don't know if it was me but the last 5 miles seemed all uphill. Weather was perfect though. Is this the last half this year?
Would there be a course map online anywhere re this or details of route it takes...

think thats it for half marathon until Connamara. There are a few 10K in dublin during December. Buy the Irish Runner and it have details. This is a good read.
anybody got any training tips for doing an ultra for the first time. I have done 4 marathons now and am curious about the challenge as to weither i would be able for it?
